Get involved - auction yourselves!

The Twestival Kuala Lumpur focus this time round is on a PUBLIC AUCTION!
We want you to pledge your services (whether you want to walk someone’s dog, offer yourself as a lunch date, wash someone’s car) or any goods you have. All proceeds go to Concern Worldwide, the charity benefitting from Twestival Global 2010. Here’s how it’ll work:
To pledge a service/item
Decide what service you want to offer (make sure you are able to fulfill it, and let’s keep it clean, people!) and send a Tweet with your pledge.
- Your pledge must be within 140 characters (one tweet).
- Make sure you use the #twestklauction hashtag along with your pledge.
- Each pledge must state the service/item and starting price for the bid.
- Twitterers can only offer auctions for services from themselves or goods they themselves possess.
- If you are selling an item, attached an image (TwitPic, Yfrog etc) of the actual item in your tweet.
Note: The Twestival KL committee will scan the tag for auctions everyday and edit it into the Wiki. Only approved auctions will make it to the Wiki. Each approved auction will get a bid number attached to it e.g. [001]
To bid for a service/item
1. Visit the Twestival KL Wikispaces Page to see what services or items are up for grabs.
2. Bid for items by tweeting:
[Bid number - associated with the service/item you want] [Your bid amount] #twestklbid
Note: We will scan the tag for bids everyday and edit them into the Wiki. The amount by the highest bidder will be updated in the Wiki.
3. On March 25, we will open all auctions from the last online bid, and all those present will have the opportunity to outbid the highest bidder from online. If you are unable to attend, but still want to bid for an item/service, please make a bid and drop us another Tweet using the #twestklbid informing us. We will be in touch.
